I'm with you.  Several times that FactheckdotOrg asserts false statements-- 

• No Evidence (a lie) Offshore Wind Development Killing Whales  STATEMENT WRONG
• there is no indication (a lie)that the strandings have anything to do with seafloor surveys being done in preparation for the installation of wind turbines. STATEMENT WRONG
• “I don’t think there is a single scientist (false thinking) out there who thinks that these deaths are being caused by wind energy activities,” Andrew Read, a marine science and conservation expert also at Duke University, told the Gothamist this month. STATEMENT WRONG

Here's some scientists producing contrary views and evidence. 

• Biden admin scientist raised alarm on offshore windfarms harming whales months ago.  'The development of offshore wind poses risks to these species'.  "These risks occur at varying stages, including construction and development, and include increased noise, vessel traffic, habitat modifications, water withdrawals associated with certain substations."   Click Here  
• Marine life experts warn that underwater surveys used to build off-shore wind farms may be to blame for a recent spate of beached whales.
• these (windfarm) surveys emit an 'intense sound,' noting that it is already well-documented that these sounds 'can cause bleeding in the eardrums of whales and lesions in their ears.   Click Here  
• researchers at the University of St. Andrews (UK)  have found that the noise made by offshore wind farms can interfere with a whale’s sonar, and can in tragic cases see them driven onto beaches where they often die.   
• Autopsies revealed bleeding around the whales' inner ears and in one instance in the brain. 

Indeed there's a debate going on.  Md's Congressman Andy Harris and  NJ's Rep. Jeff Van Drew have actively been opposing the windfarms scheduling, and calling for delays or moratoriums allowing time for further scientific reviews. Andy Harris was very concerned when months ago there was a dead whale found on Assateague Island.  Mayors, local law makers and especially environmental groups are also coping with this issue, including Ocean City Md.   

Indeed there's a debate going on.  But the Biden folks are ignoring the concerns.
