I'm not a marine scientist so I can't opine on the effect on marine life but one thing I do know, never, NEVER have I seen ALL the turbines in any location working at the same time, in fact, 50% working would be a high number. I pass a large turbine "field" on my way to Pittsburgh and another on my way to Scranton, the story is the same with both. In fact the one near Scranton is more often shut down than running?
If wind is the answer then we still don't know the question! |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Sorry, I don't buy FactheckdotOrg's sources. I'm with you. Several times that FactheckdotOrg asserts false statements--
Here's some scientists producing contrary views and evidence.
Indeed there's a debate going on. Md's Congressman Andy Harris and NJ's Rep. Jeff Van Drew have actively been opposing the windfarms scheduling, and calling for delays or moratoriums allowing time for further scientific reviews. Andy Harris was very concerned when months ago there was a dead whale found on Assateague Island. Mayors, local law makers and especially environmental groups are also coping with this issue, including Ocean City Md. Indeed there's a debate going on. But the Biden folks are ignoring the concerns. |
