If you get a haze on the lenses covering your headlights it won't come off with Windex. You can buy a cleaning kit for about $20.00, you can take it to your Mercedes dealer who will take care of it for a couple of hundred dollars or just tell you they need to be replace for about a thousand dollars or you can use a trick I learned and clean them yourself for about a dime! Get a small rag or even a paper towel, put a small dab of TOOTHPASTE on the rag and rub the lenses for a couple of minutes each. Wipe them off with a damp rag or paper towel and presto, clear as a bell and looking like new! And you thought Heloise was the only one with money saving tips? |
