And there's an article titled: Four Freshmen Texas Congressmen Defend U.S. House Chamber With Capitol Police Click Here
Seems there's no surprise that Andy Harris has also carried a firearm, [although he's from Maryland, not Texas.] I'm not sure if you raad the article you referenced. The four freshman Texas Congressmen helped police barricade the door, and broke off pieces of furniture to use as clubs, if needed. They were not carrying firearms. Nor should anyone, other than police, be carrying firearms into the House or Senate chamber. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Here's a photo of Congresswoman Lauren Boebert Shooters is a family restaurant in Rifle, Colorado, allowing Second Amendment supporters as well as the lunch crowd. The owner is Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, a 100 lb. mother of four. Back in January some fellow congressmen said, considering the January 6th events, they're glad for the policy allowing lawmakers to carry firearms has been continued. Report titled: Rep. Thomas Massie ‘glad’ he was armed during Capitol siege Click Here Recall the earlier message, how Boebert led the efforts preserving the 1967 rule. |
