For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: "Let's hope they made a strategic decision to preserve the airbase..." They didn't make a strategic decision to preserve the airbase long enough to use it as the primary method of evacuation. The move out in the night shocked our own troops there and stunned the Afghans. And that was only two weeks ago. There has been no strategy beyond Biden playing to his most progressive backers and their huzzahs can be read in the NYT comments section to the related news articles.Disgusting. |
