Let's hope they made a strategic decision to preserve the airbase, should we have the need to return. When a reporter asked the 1-star, today, if they are thinking of going beyond the airport perimeter to rescue Americans, he replied something about only having enough troops to complete the mission at the airport. Apparently, our armed forces are 'laser focused' on chewing gum. Don't know your fact checker lady, Sherman.. I think she's one of myriad Ass't SoSs.
