The Last Supper is a beautiful rendition of Jesus sharing His last meal before being put to death. The painting was not commissioned by an angel or any other Heavenly figure; just paint on canvass by an Italian guy.
In my way of thinking (mine alone) attaching a religious significance to a painting might be considered a abomination by righteous Christians; maybe LdV, too... he was a NATURALIST! |
