For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There is no such thing as high capacity, just standard capacity. The "high capacity" bugaboo is a creation of the left, created to inspire fear in the ignorant populace, who doesn't understand that these firearms were invented with certain capacity magazines, and trying to recreate them with LOW capacity magazines is what the government is trying to do, for no good reason. The facts are that magazine capacity is irrelevant. Anyone capable of handling a firearm competently can reload a firearm from a second and third and foruth magazine quickly enough to do whatever job he or she wishes to do, regardless of capacity of the individual magazine. If magazine capaicity is limited, people will just buy more magazines. It's all a ridicuous argument. At that point the government will have to ban magazines entirely, with the same sucess they've had banning firearms themsleves. The public will not stand still for it. It won't stand constitutional scrutiny. |
