| Jim, I reread it, didn't see it. Black people wasn't my first thought honest. Here is what I think. White privilege isn't creating a system that unfairly arrests and prosecutes blacks. The black parents making bad life choices are creating situations that increase the likelihood of bad outcomes happening, are the ones responsible. Blacks make up 13 % of population and commit 37% of crimes. There are single parents living all over the world and very poor, but kids aren't out committing crime. I'm not with you on the African American community being racially profiled and stereotyped, sorry. Even though I had two parents, my father worked 12 hour days six days a week, so pretty much i was raised by my mother, and god forbid you cross that woman. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I was replying to Dave's message to me, which said: If you can’t do the time don’t do the crime. “Profiling “ has basis generally. Replying to my message to Mark, which said: The fact that your hypothetical break-in story assumes that the burglar was black is, in itself, racially biased. I'm sure that the African-American community is sick and tired of being racially profiled and stereotyped. Reread the thread and tell me what is your point? |
