For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Asian countries have crime, just on a smaller basis as befits their populations. They don't have inner city crime problems like we have as they don't have huge inner city slums. Communist China might be the exception but they punish criminals beyond what we would think of as fitting for the crime. Not fair but it controls crime somewhat. South Korea and Taiwan are much like the west as far as crime, policing, law, and their court system. Same holds true for Malaysia and Indonesia. Actually these countries are better than the current US big city problems of out of control crime and revolving door justice, etc. I am less familiar with Japan than other Asian countries. I had to say US "big city" problems because the crap that is in the news constantly is not common in medium to small US cities, as we all know. Inner city slums = massive crime. I'm not sure how you are defining infighting here. |
