Up north, the Paper of Record has taken the position that claiming the virus is a man-mutated organism, created in the Wuhan lab, is RACIST.
This is the same organ that, at the time, ignored reports of dozens of concentration camps slaughtering the Jews of Europe. When the opportunity came to save the lives of Jews on the S.S. St Louis, an ambivalent FDR punted. I can't help but think had the Times given the Holocaust the coverage required, pressure from the public would have forced FDR to dock the ship. If you believe as I do that the media has a choke hold on white liberal politicians, then we might agree that what appears in the Times and Post will have enormous influence on Biden's decision-making when the origins of Covid report is made public. I recall it was Taiwan that first alerted the planet that the bat virus can be transmitted from human to human (proof that it was a human construct). Begs the Question: Does the Times hold that claims made by the Taiwanese are, too, fundamentally RACIST? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ed & Jack Quotes "President Joe Biden's halting of a State Department investigation into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic in Wuhan, China, has two Senate Republicans requesting information on the move. 'We write to request information regarding recent reports that 'President Joe Biden's team shut down' an investigation into the origins of SARS-CoV-2, which included examining the theory that the virus originated in a lab in Wuhan, China,' Sens. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Rick Scott, R-Fla., wrote in a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken and President Biden." Report from yesterday: Click Here It's an investigation, halted by Biden, being probed into, as noted above. Tom |
