Thanks Mark. A very good video. Ben Shapiro is very passionate in his presentation.
The portion about "We the People" begins about the 6:45 marker -- for anyone who doesn't want the whole 9 + minutes. For me, Shapiro's point about -- checks and balances and also the limited delegation of powers -- were two key points. The govt has its powers only to the extent that the people have delegated such powers, to it. That's the ultimate form of checks & balances. Tom |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think even in total context his use of "we the people are the government" was simply wrong and indicative of his belief that the government is in control or should be in total, unlimited control of this country. Here is a good analysis of his speech everyone might enjoy hearing. |
