Did not watch it buy seem to remember early on the coroner said he did NOT die from lack of oxygen, had a system full of illegal drugs and suffered from heart problems as well as high blood pressure and found no marks on his neck where the officer was kneeling. I also seem to remember that the official training manual showed that to be a recommended practice to control a prisoner.
If any of these things was introduced in trial I would have a hard tome convicting him, reasonable doubt! |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Plenty of "What If's" occur for major cases. Seems there's also a big question this time around -- whether the judge should have sequestered this jury, for the entire trial -- realizing potentials for volatile conditions these days. Would have precluded Maxine from becoming any influence. Or other commentators spread throughout the media. I think there's plenty of possibility that Maxine might be viewed as a marginal kook. -- Relegated to a marginal roll. Yet on appeal the defense would likely be touting her roll as influential. I'm wondering how much argument there was about Floyd swallowing some illegal pills, to keep the police from finding them in his possession?? Did you listen to very much of the trial?? Its so time consuming to watch, so I've just been reading reports, instead. |
