I've just uploaded new code with some improvements for uploading images. The code allows selection of multiple images for uploading in one shot. Currently only four can be uploaded at a time but I can set this for any number; and now only forum managers see the link. The link is "Add Multiple Images" and it is just to the right of the normal "Add Image" link.
Multiple uploading doesn't currently allow for setting the image name and description on each image. The image name as displayed after the upload is the same name as the image on your hard drive, less the the file type. So, if you upload a file named Flower.jpg, the name displayed in the photo gallery will be Flower. Keep in mind that you can cahange any image name when you find images on your drive you wish to upload. Just right click on the image and rename.
If you wish to add a different name, or a description or assign to a specific album, this must be done on each file manually after the upload. I'll work on seeing if I can code to allow setting the names/descriptions/album during the upload process.
You must have the Adobe Flash player installed on your machine for this to work. It will not work on cell phones.
I'll open this to all users at some point.
