Section 8: FeatureArticles
Subject: Headers on Page Msg# 822046
|This is actually a time saver. Over the years I've tried to change those images to match various forum design changes I've made in MEF, but it was a hassle to get them the right size, and aligned and so forth. Plus when we renamed the section on the Home page it wasn't reflected at the top of the actual pages, and if I understand this it now will be. I've heard of cascading style sheets before but don't know how they work. I'm glad you do. This is cleaner and simpler.|

New code changes what is displayed at the top of the articles/features pages. Previously an image was displayed that showed "features" and managers could also change this image.
New code eliminates the image and uses something called css to display the title near the top of the page. The advantage of this new method is images are no longer needed and the actual text displayed is the same as what the manager named the articles or features area.
I'll be doing the same for news, video, polls, photos, calendar.
Below is how it appears if the manager names the area "articles."
