Description: This is the next step in my accidental effort to learn metalwork: a brass fetch hook. A fetch hook (or orifice hook, or threading hook) is a tool spinners use to thread the end of the yarn from the wheel's bobbin out through the flyer. It's essential for older wheels and finer threads!
