Braiding diagram,

Photo From: RuthMacGregor - Album: Braids and Basketry

Description: This diagram shows the moves used to make the kumihimo braid known variously as "Honeycomb", "Yatu-tusuki", and "Horsetail". The big round thing in the middle represents the marudai (braiding stand), and the little round things represent the bobbins. This is an 8-strand braid.
