Description: This plainweave towel is part of an effort to tidy my living area <G>. The warp is 10/2 mercerized cotton, threaded in crackle; the wefts are 22/2 cottolin (the beige part), handspun heavy tow linen (the dark beige stripes), and odds and ends of 10/2 cotton left on bobbins and quills in my weaving basket (the colored stripes).
