Photo From: RuthMacGregor - Album: Spinning and Weaving

Description: This little ribbon is being woven on an inkle loom. The warp and weft are silk sewing thread, and the sparkly gold threads are a DMC metallic thread about the weight of buttonhole silk. There are 151 warp threads in this ribbon, and the weaving is almost exactly one inch wide. It's the finest thing *I've* ever woven! :-) Uploaded: 2/1/2006 by RuthMacGregor
