Description: Here is another way of tying the weaver's knot (aka "sheet bend"). The dark blue yarn is "fixed" (i.e., attached to the loom), and the turquoise yarn is the "working" yarn. Step 1: Make a loop in the "fixed" yarn, with the free end crossing on top. Step 2: Bring the end of the working yarn up through the loop. Step 3: Pass the working end across, behind the fixed yarn, to the other side. Step 4: Slip the working end down through the original loop and tighten. Uploaded: 3/17/2004 by RuthMacGregor
