Have you seen reports that Fairfax county, Va. is proposing restrictions on flags.  Flags can't be too big, there can't be too many, and flag staffs can't be too high.   Poles should not exceed 25 ft,  Sq foot can't exceed 24 ft.  And there can't be more than two, at your home.

No wonder that objections are rolling in.  Especially from veterans.  Seems a really dumb idea.  Another way that big govt wants to be telling everyone what they can or can't do.  

I fondly recall the beauty of that very large flag, flown when Shanty Town was located just before  crossing the bridge into OCity.  Wondering how many folks here can recall that great sight??
