For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: That picture reminds me of a funny incident in bankruptcy court a number of years ago. I was the trustee of a failed movie studio-- Sling Blade, You Can Count On Me, Casino and 44 others that no one has ever heard of. My young attorney, who regularly stepped on it with this judge, walked to the rostrum to discuss a sale of the rights to one of those unknown pictures which I remember was made by and for the Far Eastern market. "Your Honor", young Michael announced, "we are here today to discuss....The Day I Became A Woman". The judge looked at me, winked and said to Michael, "If I were you, I'd ask for my money back". |
