| Are you speaking of the kids who are being forced to stay home now because the government won’t allow the schools to reopen or the teachers won’t go back because it’s not safe? Also- the ‘homeschooled’ children - the community whose parents have chosen this for them usually long before they were even born- are very dedicated to their child’s education. I was one of them. In Annapolis-we met weekly for activities such as 4H, ice-skating, Science, Etc. My daughter in Nashville has a huge community of homeschooled children and activities for children kindergarten - 12th grade. Most of the children meet the state requirements and beyond for graduation at age 15. Then go on to University or careers. Mine did.The comment made by your son is made , I believe, with little knowledge of the true homeschooled community. | ||||||
