Seems that some folks are just following the media reports of what occurred, and reporter's versions of what the Prez said. I heard mostly all of that speech last Wednesday. And I've double checked against the published transcript. Click Here
Here's comments from that review of the transcript:
< Six times Trump mentions “walk” down to the capitol.
< One time he mentions “march” within these remarks, this context: “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”
< Notice the wording “peacefully and patriotically” included among his remarks. Interesting!!
< Notice that there is no mention of any words like “stop the counting of electoral votes” in Trump's remarks, as your message incorrectly assumes.
< There is no mention of words like: "action nor violence” as your message implied.
< There is no mention of words like: “implored, nor urged” as your message implied.

Hope this transcript will help clarify, and provide additional background to folks -- seeing what was actually said.

You'll recall I'm supporting all the law enforcement efforts -- to arrest and charge those who broke in or committed any vandalism at the Capitol. That was clearly wrong.

Of course, such violent actions were contrary to Trump's instructions, when he was saying “peacefully and patriotically.”

Gee – wonder why the media failed to mention that wording of Trump's speech?? An interesting inconsistency in the facts vs most reporter's versions. 180 degrees. Opposites.
