Among several thousands of folks there,  I'd think almost no one knew about those few forcing their way in.  So many were there just waving their flags, and standing around on the steps and standing on the surrounding porches -- according to the variety of photos.  Some folks were lining the streets, and some were on the Capital's surrounding lawns. 

At dusk there were streams of folks walking away from the site, and as the announcements were being made about the 6 PM curfew.  Seems many had even departed earlier, per the broadcast message from Prez T. 

Stragglers who were hanging around were struck by police batons and forcibly kept moving away, after the curfew became effective 

A report about the woman who was shout indicated she was from San Diego & an armed forces veteran.  There's been multiple reports that she was shot by a police or security officer.
