If you want to criticize him on his judgement, and back it up, I have no problem with that (I might disagree with you or not, but that's OK. We can discuss our disagreement)
But, if he is speaking publicly, and struggles to find the right word, I will give him a break. If I disagree with his content, the I will criticize him, too. There are no politicians out there that I agree 100% with, and I am perfectly willing to call them out when I disagree. In this forum, I would like to see discussion about issues, policy, etc. and not political BS, drama, etc. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: How new (or old) is that excuse??? In all the years I've followed Biden, back almost 30 years, i.e. back to when he led the committee questioning at the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings, I've never heard the excuse of his stuttering, when his judgement and political views were being challenged. . . Never came up when he was younger, although there were plenty of gaffs by Joe in those years. And there were loads of times his judgement & political views as well as his gaffs were under scrutiny in his 8 yrs as VP.. Oh now I get it -- a new defense asserted by today's media. -- Might come in handy these days to divert critics. Of course his adversaries may allege a different aliment like alzheimer's. |
