OK You sent this English Major to Webster's. The word "myriad" can be used as either a noun or an adjective so " a myriad of" is acceptable as is "myriad errors". Literally from the Greek (which I took...and failed occasionally in high school), it means thousands or ten of thousands. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: myriad unforced Its been years since I last saw the word 'myriad' NOT preceded by 'a' and followed by 'of.' I understand "a myriad of unforced errors" is grammatically acceptable but... |
