I think that there are peaceful protesters that have every right to exercise their first amendment rights. There are fringe groups that show up during the protests, for the purpose of looting, destroying property, committing violent acts, etc. Those groups / people should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Municipal governments should not be passive about the looting, destruction, and violence. Jim |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Jim Not bad, pretty mild humor. Much lower key kind of ironic humor, than you implied. From clips I've seen, excerpts from CNN, & other media, such sources are much more acidic & derogatory in their comments. And viewers of those other media can often see their fallacies in reporting. For example, calling a street event largely peaceful, while arsonists have set ablaze nearby stores & businesses -- even viewable in the background, on camera. Also in their reports about the Prez. I'd think very few dems & libs here in OP are OK with all that arson, violence, injuries, & some killings. Its got to stop, or be stopped. Can't be justified away Pretty sad the way some mayors & Governors are so unconcerned. That's ignorant, IMO What's your view?? Tom |
