Two drunks in a bar at 2 AM arguing about sports that neither knows anything about and the bartender just wants to go home! | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I'd compare that debate to a rough & tumble football game. And with the coaches acting as referees, constantly throwing penalty flags, (verbally.) Our family was constantly yelling about Biden's throwing out so many lies. Started quite early when Joe falsely said the Trump had not been pressuring China to have our Covid medical teams go into China and get more medical facts. And went on & on all evening that way. We felt that it's very important to correct those falsehoods quickly, not let them linger on the table. Seems that the Prez was feeling the same, constantly having to correct Joe's false statements. And Joe had plenty of come back comments also. Some very low brow --like shut up -- clown, etc. So YES, was rather messy, but it needed to be done. Here's an interesting quote that Trump said to Chris Wallace: "I Guess I'm Debating You, Not Him ... I'm Not Surprised" Seems Wallace was injecting his own views & interrupting, so Trump pointed this out. Today reports mentioned that Trump was often faced with debating & correcting both Biden and Wallace. We saw about four or more times that Biden lost his words delivery, was pausing & fumbling. But the commentators did not pick on Joe for that. He got a pass. Plenty more went on in that debate, just like in a very scrappy, rough & tumble football game. Too much for a single message here Bottom line -- I'd suspect that folks on both political sides were happy for their own candidate. Didn't move the needle either way. |
