Your comments are no surprise.
Each side was seeing its candidate thru their own lenses. And forming their own viewpoints. You've got your favorite issues, questions & topics from the debate, and yet conservatives, like me, also have our list of favorites. Which is why I thought this debate didn't move the needle either way. That definitely seems the bottom line. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Tom, I know you watched it. Trump constantly interrupted and shouted over top of Biden throughout the entire "non-debate." He would not even allow Biden to answer a question. Nor did he did even attempt to answer the moderators questions. He was not, nor would he be silenced! He played the role which he does best of the schoolyard bully. So many things in the middle which I'm sure you saw or will observe if you watch again. And when Trump started attacking Biden's family, Biden said "It's not about your (Trump's) family, and it's not about my family. (as he moved forward looking directly into the camera at the audience) it is about YOUR family. Trump has never addressed us in that way. It as always been about him and his non-accomplishments. But, near the end when Trump refused to denounce the white supremacists and all of their ilk, that was a very telling moment. He told the proud boys to stand down, but stand by. (In case he loses the election and needs a militia) The proud boys have made that their mantra, and produce T-shirt with that on them. Another group that has some very fine people among them. Their is so much to write on this, but I don't have time right now. Let me just say that no matter how you spin it, it is very hard to put lipstick on this pig. A very embarrassing moment for the United States. |
