Yet -- Seems pretty clear to me the money came from Trump's "efforts" ( or negotiations, or ideas ). Recall how Mnuchin was heavily involved. Seems clear that no one thought it came out of Trump's pocket.

Since when do politicians or political parties hesitate to take credit for stuff that is passed on their watch?. They're constantly boasting & talking up programs their side supported-- plenty of examples. 

So seems short sighted to try and put boundaries around who should or shouldn't be taking the credit.  Swimming against a tidal wave-- multitude of examples going in the opposite direction.
