For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: O it has been for quite some time now tom. Traditional schooling is why parents are pulling their children out and homeschooling is becoming more and more popular.Many retirees volunteer in these subject to teach a homeschool group each week . Be it Civil War History, Biology, Chorus, Home Ec- most children become very proficient in the subject of their choice if they choose to As they get into high school. This is just a few hours a week as a group- the rest of the time is spent at home. My granddaughter has ben since kindergarten and she in now in 2nd grade-writing cursive, reading biographies, geography, classics, science , etc- very extended HSeducation. ! And she loves studying the Civil War and WWII! |
