Much of the population is only watching the biggest developments--No tax on tips, no tax on overtime, & Offsets to Social security taxations. Plus the border benefits, agents, resources and wall sections being added. That makes six biggies.
That translates into gladness it all passed, not creating the kinds of grudges that Dems & the media may try to sell. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Sausage making always has some oddball compromises. YES The Lisa Murkowski accommodation was needed this time. So, how is that fair (or even legal) to the rest of the states? There are many poor Red states, in addition to Alaska, that should not have those benefits reduced. Will the constituents of those states remember how poorly they were represented come mid-terms? |
