I don't really want to keep talking about Comrade Mamdani, but I do want to ask the group a question. I note that on seemingly every news network, this guy is being discussed as nauseum. My first reaction was that the more he is talked about the more popular he may become in NYC circles, which is a bad thing in my estimation.
I was talking with another conservative, however, who opined that the networks are talking about him in depth because it is important to get Mamdani's views and his plans out there--the idea being that the more people know about how he thinks, the less likely he is to be elected. That made some sense to me. Sure, some who won't think beyond a surface level will hear about his plans for free everything and think "heck yeah." But anyone with a brain will hear about his plans for tax increases--and no, not just for the "rich," but for everyone--because he would have to pay for all that free stuff somehow. So I suppose talking about this guy in depth may not be a bad idea after all--the more you know the more you realize what a disaster he would be if elected. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Reactions against the candidate Mamdani are now being reported. Because of Mamdani's communist programs he's proposing, some backlash is arising. Some Republican officials and one NY group are pushing for Mamdani's citizenship to be revoked-- also deported. Headlines: Republicans ask Donald Trump to revoke Zohran Mamdani's citizenship Click Here House Republican Wants Zohran Mamdani Deported Click Here Ogles asks DOJ to look into whether Mamdani should be stripped of citizenship Click Here Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) has called on the Dept Of Justice to investigate whether New York state Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani should be stripped of his U.S. citizenship. Ogles said Mamdani's actions raise "serious concerns about whether Mr. Mamdani held affiliations or sympathies he failed to disclose during the naturalization process." The New York Young Republican Club (NYYRC) has called on the federal government to strip Zohran Mamdani of his citizenship. New York City Councilwoman Vickie Paladino, (who also serves as the GOP minority whip) posted on June 3 that it is "insane" to elect someone to a major office "who hasn’t even been a US citizen for ten years ... Deport." Mamdani faces these kinds of problems: < Supporting "globalize the intifada", a strong anti-semitic program sponsored by Palestinians < Rapping the lyrics, along with others, of: "Free the Holy Land Free/ My guys". This raises questions of Mamdani's membership affiliation with The Holy Land Foundation, required to be disclosed in his naturalizations paperwork. < The Holy Land Foundation is a U.S.-based Muslim charity. Five of its leaders were convicted of funneling money to Hamas in support of Palestine in 2008. < The Communist Control Act allows President Trump to revoke Mamdani's citizenship and to deport him. Whether or not this action succeeds, the public should be aware of Mamdani's extensive support of anti-American principles. And those are the same principles of failures of communism around the world. |
