There's not yet any agreed "if passed as is" version.
Do you ever stop the spin for Trump? Trump wants it passed as is. No ifs, and, or buts. How much increase is Trump willing to add to the national debt to get what he wants? How much are right-wingers willing to accept? You know, the folks who want a balanced budget. Trump's tax bill would cut taxes while adding to national debt, CBO says | Fox Business None of the right-wingers even believe the CBO. Who do they believe? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: big, beautiful bill....if passed as is ..... There's not yet any agreed "if passed as is" version. Yesterday (Monday) the Senate Finance Committee unveiled its portion of President Trump’s “big, beautiful bill”. And these provisions will be subject to further debating from the full Senate. Until its becoming a settled package it seems a waste to try to read & comment on all the new provisions. Yet the basics of no taxes on tips and on overtime are still included, (but may have maximums imposed.) The benefits for no taxes on social security are apparently changing into some other form of benefits, not yet thoroughly spelled out. Then the SALT allowance apparently will be changing (deductibility of state income taxes) |
