These are obviously not the real numbers, but I am dumbing this down for the sake of argument.

If the market drops twenty over four days, gains back ten one day, and then loses three the next day, the market is still down 13. That’s a net loss.

We have sustained a massive net loss. Duh.

Five horrific days and one great day does not equal “winning.”

And now the EU and China are exploring an expansion to their trade partnership, as they both see the US as volatile , erratic, needlessly aggressive, and unreliable. The dollar is getting crushed. Bonds, a safe haven no less than two weeks ago,  are getting sold off (that last piece is from Fox News, by the way.) 

But yeah man. Everything is going great.
