For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Robert, Dave, Mark See reports titled: Rep. Flood Introduces Resolution Condemning UN's Anti-Beef Food Strategy Hinson Spearheads Condemnation of UN Agency Trying to Tell Americans to Eat Less Meat Congressional representative Mike Flood (R-Neb) has been joined by Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA) jointly introducing a resolution condemning the United Nations for calling on Americans to eat less meat. Their objections are aimed at the UN plan introduced at the COP28 conference, calling for curtailment of the amount of meats produced and eaten in diets of America and other developed nations. Quotes: "The resolution I’m introducing today makes it clear that the United States opposes any attempt to reduce or eliminate meat production. Doing so would shatter the world’s food security and end an age-old way of life for millions of farm and ranch families across the globe.” Rep Mike Flood said. “It's laughable that a U.N. agency spearheaded by a top (Chinese) CCP official is calling on Americans to eat less meat in the name of climate change when China is the world's worst polluter. This is a thinly veiled attempt by China to undermine U.S. agriculture as well as the Iowa farmers who produce high quality meat. I'm proud to lead the charge to condemn this nonsense from the UN, and alongside Representative Flood, to stand up for U.S. agriculture, and set the record straight." said Rep. Ashley Hinson. Seems that Trump will be supporting those American farmers, as well as protecting our national nutrition. But where are Biden & the progressives going to land . . . . . . ?????? |
