I'd hope some Dems would be reading those sentiments you posted. And give those thoughts some recognition.
Call me old fashioned, but the US has for over 200 years been the global leader in our governing practices and also in global commerce. So lets build on that tradition, not toss it away for some socialistic or Marxist malpractices. Allowing riots, looting, arson without prosecutions and also ignoring crimes such as assaults, stealing, etc. are foreign practices that should have no place in America. Nor should we tolerate unequal justice based on political affiliations. Also the nation should be rooting out the corruption of bribes and graft for buying political influence. And stop the illegals crossing our borders -- it now amounts to failing to enforce our laws on the books. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: One thing that I don't believe gets through to liberals is this. It isn't that we conservatives automatically oppose any and every idea you have without reason. It's that you rush into everything--and I mean everything--because it sounds good to you on paper. You don't investigate and consider anything before you try to implement it yesterday. And so we all suffer the negative consequences when act on your poorly thought out ideas. We are simply tired of pie-in-the-sky plans to "make the world a better place" without really considering what you are doing, liberals. If you ever sat down and considered what you are really up to for a minute before you made sweeping changes to society and the world, maybe we wouldn't always seemingly oppose your every move. But you don't. So we do. |
