Folks should be warned that the lithium-ion batteries in Elec vehicles, when exposed to salt water, can catch fire and destroy the vehicle, such as Teslas, and others EV's. And this can occur a week or more after the flooding occurs.

It's also bad for gas powered ones. But at least the gas one's being flooded won't burn down your garage or your home.
