| I wouldn't blame you. We used to live in California. Granted we left decades ago, but we have discussed this and we wouldn't go back for any reason whatsoever today. Most of my wife's family there is gone, so that makes it an easier decision. I'm from Illinois, and we wouldn't go there either--another left wing state. Of course Illinois is sadder for me, because it is dominated by Chicago (Cook County and environs)--most of downstate is conservative, like most of the Midwest. But Chicago has always ruled the state, and probably always will. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Been debating. Only thing holding us back is the grandkids. But our sons are seriously considering moving there as well. If that happens we are out of here. |
