A video released a few days ago shows a time lapse of the crowd around the Capitol. At the exact second Trump tweeted that Pence didn't have the courage to do "the right thing," what appeared to be a peaceful crowd, turned into a violent mob that rushed the barriers, assaulted the police, and forced their way into the Capitol.
I'm not sure I buy that story, to be honest. "At the exact second?" |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Passantino is the lawyer the Trump team assigned to Kassidy Hutchinson. He advised her to say she did not recall to questions about January 6. He told her that even if she did recall, she should say she didn't, and she would not be guilty of perjury. [Just like Oliver North ![]() I don't know about you, but to me, January 6 was one of the worst days in our history. This is something I would never want to happen again. It needs to be dealt with now and prevented in the future. Trump is now saying the whole thing is Pence's fault. Why do some Republicans think the events of that day are of no concern, it was just normal political discourse, the rioters were just tourists? |
