Since 2016 management and ownership has been by the University of Alaska Fairbanks.  Key sources of Climate skepticism have not been critical of that facility, even when it was formerly  operated by the US Air Force and Navy.  Yet there have been other critics making all sorts of claims against the facility alleging things like -- mind control and heating up the climate. 

Yet many analysts who follow temperature trends are reporting, and there's been a bunch of studies showing  "pauses" where temp rises have levelled out. They are not continuing to rise.  Hmmnn --that pausing of temps occurring would suggest that misusing HAARP to force temp rises hasn't been working  or hasn't been occurring.  Few mass media have covered these temp "pause" reports, yet there have been plenty of them.   For example:

Seems the critics who fear that HAARP was raising temps would have to acknowledge temps haven't been rising, hardly at all. 

I'd also suggest that the media has been hyping minute temperature wiggles designed to gain public support for the liberal green new deals.  [But that's a separate topic.]
