| I still don't understand why we don't use the coal from the Powder River Basin and convert it to petroleum feedstock? It can be converted to natural gas, gasoline, diesel, heating oil, plastics feedstock just to mention some of the uses and, there's enough coal to supply ALL of our energy needs for 500 years! | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Kerry and Dave I started a new topic, since the wind, solar & coal power plants stuff came up. China had more coal burning power plants in construction then we have total left in US ! Green energy can not provide all we need. And now turbines for wind energy appears to kill whales as well as birds. Let’s see what the greenies like most , “ green” energy or wildlife. And Putin is asserting control over several European nations who rely on Russian natural gas |
