I don’t believe all of the whales showed blunt force trauma as being hit by a boat. The belief is the sound coming from the turbines confuse the whales and could even cause them to not avoid a ship.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Just to be clear, the whales were hit by large ships, wind turbines have nothing to do with their deaths.  Examination showed the whales died of blunt force trauma. One more thing, wind turbines would be exceedingly successful if located close to the headquarters of the DNCC!
