Here's a chart indicating that tornados are becoming less frequent. And that's a better situation than Koonin indicated, when saying they haven't increased.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks for posting that video. YES Steve Koonin is a very authentic voice refuting many of the exaggerations of those pushing Climate Change. And when Koonin is saying that several measurements are NOT GETTING WORSE, he's being very conservative. In fact they've really been getting better. Hurricanes over the long haul numbers of years are getting less frequent and less lives are being lost. Same for forest fires. Doom & gloom climate predictions are failing again and again and again. The Arctic Ocean is not becoming ice free. Manhattan NY is not being flooded. Nor is Miami. Steve Koonin's book makes a very good case, pointing out those climate prediction failures. Also books by Gregory Wrightstone, BjornLomborg, Marc Morano and Joe Bastardi add onto the same basic flaws and point to the weaknesses in the theories of the Green New Deal, AOC, Al Gore, and others. Thus Steve Koonin is far from being alone in what he's saying -- of how he's criticizing the warming advocates. |
