I agree that it's unlikely that us seniors on the FF don't do crypto. I frankly do not understand the attraction of crypto. I've heard the argument--believe it or not!--that crypto is attractive specifically because it is separate from the government and the banks... ...but that makes it dangerous in my opinion. But I understand that this is a different world than the one most of us grew up in. Frankly, more's the pity.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Mark, why do I suspect that our guys on the Firearms Forum don't have a crypto nickel between us? I have never understood the whole thing since it started? I know for a fact that a dollar bill, THAT I CAN HOLD IN MY HAND, is backed by the full faith of the United States, not by some random 30 year old kid! How much do you want to bet that the big losers will try like hell to get the government to cover their losses? |
