I hope and pray that the new Republican House doesn't spend all of it's time investigating Hunter et al. I know he's a slime ball and needs to be investigated and then indicted but solving some of the current economic and border issues is way more important and, will pay off in the long run.
How does a Republican House able to accomplish anything with a Democrat Senate and a Democrat president? Even if the Republicans controlled the Senate, a Democrat president could veto every meaningful bill and the Republicans certainly are not even close to having any veto override. In short, the House majority does absolutely nothing except allow the Republicans to control committees and do investigations that will go nowhere. Impeachments? Not likely to succeed, at best. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I hope and pray that the new Republican House doesn't spend all of it's time investigating Hunter et al. I know he's a slime ball and needs to be investigated and then indicted but solving some of the current economic and border issues is way more important and, will pay off in the long run. With that being said if Hunter does get convicted and is facing serious jail time will daddy pardon him? If he does then the public would go nuts, if he doesn't he runs the risk of Hunter rolling over on him and his brother, remember, Hunter is a junkie and needs his dope everyday! |
