Thanks for some very interesting data. All part of the inflation picture.
Our relatives, out of town, are heating with oil so they will get hit. In O-Pines mostly there's heat pumps, so we hope our utility is skilled at reasonable mixes of fuels. Then, some O-Pines homes use natural gas. Also has some inflationary consequences. For years I've been a big fan of nuclear power. Reliable, & stable cost. Wondering, in the long run, whether adding a wood stove installation might be a good choice here. Most seniors like to stay warm & cozy, thus . . . . . |
