Who cares if Mexico didn't pay for it ? When completed it would save us immensely.

Very True Here's some of the savings/economic benefits of how a completed wall would benefit the US

< less needs for the military to assist handling crisis border situations. Three prez's called on the military to assist there--Bush, Obama & Trump.
< less needs for adding more border control personnel, and enlarging border processing centers.
< less needs for air and bus trips transporting the illegals around the country.
< Less needs for soup kitchens and housing shelters around the country.
< less needs for "free" health care that Biden has promised them.
< Less crime committed by illegals. Lower impacts on US citizens as victims of those crimes.
< Less chaos for the communities and towns of border states.
< Less illegals in D.C. and other cities creating problems.
< Less costs of sending illegals back to their home countries: legal processes, jailing & transportation -- costs saved.
< less drugs smuggled in by illegals and cartels hiding among illegals

On and on.

And then there's USMCA, the improved NAFTA treaty negotiated by Trump. Mexico got on board first among the three nations. It was signed into law in Mexico in June 2019, in the U.S in January 2020, and in Canada in March 2020. The USMCA began in force on July 1, 2020.

The USMCA treaty added an estimated $68.2 billion to the U.S. economy, and created about 176,000 new jobs here.

The cost of Trump's wall is estimated at $15 billion. Economic benefits of the USMCA treaty are more than quadruple the wall's cost.

On the contrary, I see lots of legitimate discussion here. Undoubtedly, most of us disagree with your positions, this is true. That is understandable, in that most of your positions are untenable.

You post liberal gobbledygook from off beat sources and get pissed off when someone shoots down your argument.

Who cares that Trump may have funded the wall from the Pentagon budget ? The important thing is he built it. (Or most of it until jerkweed shut it down at a cost of millions a day.)

And President Nieto didn't start laughing until Joe took office.
