Many folks can recall the way that Steve Scalise was saved from near death about 5 yrs earlier from being shot while practicing for the Congressional baseball game.
Here's an interview of Scalise along with Brad Wenstrup, a former combat surgeon in Iraq who rushed over to aid Scalise. A very heart touching interview, before this year's game. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Republicans win 2022 Congressional Baseball Game,trounce Democrats 10-0 Click Here Highlighting the shut out victory, were several Texan Congress-men contributing to the win, including Kevin Brady playing in his 25 congressional baseball game [per the Dallas Morning News]. A TV report showed Congress-woman Katherine Cammack [R-Fla] being tagged out by the catcher, while trying to score. Both teams welcomed their largest crowd ever to this charity event. A sparse group of protestors appeared outside pushing climate issues. |
